Principal's Message
Dr. Saundra R Deems
Dr. Deems obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree with a dual certification in both elementary and special education from California University of PA along with her Master’s Degree in Administration and in 2021 she obtained her Doctorate.
She has been a professional employee in the Trinity Area School District since 2000 holding the positions of Special Education Teacher, Sixth Grade Reading Teacher and has held her current position as an Administrator in the Trinity Area School District since January 2009. Dr. Deems a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), the Pennsylvania Association of Elementary and Secondary School Principals (PAESSP), the Pennsylvania Association for Middle Level Education (PAMLE), The National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), The Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators (PASA), Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), and has participated in the Pennsylvania Inspired Leadership Program. Her goal for the middle School: Create a safe learning environment enhanced by a spirit of school community where every student has diverse opportunities for learning and to promote problem-solving and critical-thinking skills and responsibility for the student's own learning.
Dr. Deems has been happily married to her husband Chad (her high school sweetheart) for 23 years. They live in Amity with their two cats, Butters & Larry, and are honored to call this area our home.
